I am Ebunlomo Walker, a freelance health and medical writer, with over 3 decades as a family physician, researcher, and international/public/community health, practitioner. As a people-oriented and empathetic family physician, I find communicating health information a key strategy in reaching hundreds and thousands of people.      

My interest include:

  • Health and Medical Writing – scripting accurate and trustworthy content to promote health decision-making and behavior change.
  • Community Health Literacy – direct person-to-person, group, and on-air health education programs. Reached thousands on a regional basis with info on health topics.
  • Family Medicine with an emphasis on the promotion of the health of women and children.
  • Infectious diseases including HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. HIV as it affects women.
  • Child Protection – Practice

Ebunlomo has broad-based experience, knowledge, and passion for communicating health information to people to help them know, which would enable them to make health-promoting decisions in health care, access, compliance, etc.

My motto is:” That they may know”.

That people may know the enabling and risk factors to stay in top-notch health.

Ebunlomo enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling. She at various times lived in Nigeria, the United States, Uganda, and Sweden and visited Italy, Zimbabwe, Congo Brazzaville, and Burkina Faso. Her travels took her through Kenya, the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.
